So I think today will go down as one of the worst mornings of my life. It started out fine, the girls woke up without any trouble, ate breakfast and got dressed with little hassle. I took Ashlynn to the bus which is about 1 1/2-2 miles away. We got there a little early so I turned off the car and we sat and listened to music, she got on the bus and I went to start the car and...... Nothing!! I was a little concerned but not too bad, I figured I could just call Jaime or Jess or someone and they could come and give me a jump, but wait, I had left my phone at home! So I was stuck at the bus stop a couple of miles away from home in the cold morning, and did I mention that I had a 10 month old baby with me (Sabrina)? Yeah, and she weighs more than Gabbo. Sometime right after we left for the bus she decided to have a blowout, so not only was she heavy, but stinky as well! I weighed my options and decided to walk home. I figured it wouldn't take that long so off we went. As we were crossing the road Gabrielle tripped and fell..ON HER FACE! She was bleeding from her nose, chin, lip and gums and crying it was awful. I wiped her off as best I could with my sleeve, I couldn't even carry her because I had the baby. Thankfully when we got about halfway Jaime was on his way to work and he seen us, so we didn't have to walk in the cold for very long. He jumped the car and it started fine. When we got home I changed Sabrina's diaper, she had a serious rash, poor thing, and went down to throw it out. When I came back up the stairs she had my coffee ( I forgot that babies reach for anything they shouldn't have when they think you aren't looking) and she proceeded to dump it in my shoe.
The rest of our day has been good, but man I hope I don't ever have another experience like this one again, and let me tell you, I will never go anywhere without my phone again, not even to the mailbox!!!!!

So it sounds like I am not the only one to have a bad day with the little ones. Glad your day had been getting better though.
I'm so sorry you had to go through that! I wish you would have had your phone too. I would have been there in a flash. Good think Jaime was driving by. Hope Gabbo is ok.
Ohh, that sounds like a pretty bad morning alright. I will pray that tomorrow morning is smooth sailing, so much so that you forget all about this morning. :)
Oh no! That's horrible! Something you'll remember forever!
That totally sucked.. I had a similar experience, but it was not as bad as yours!
I got a flat tire in the middle of town @ 9 am on a Saturday snow covered winter morning. Natalie had a dress on with a light sweater, and the rest of us were definitely not dressed for winter. I too, forgot my cellphone. Not a single person would answer their door so I could call for help. Some people were home, and just not answering! I really felt stranded! The only person who offered to help change my tire was a mentally disabled person. So I walked pushing a stroller, through snow and ice with three kids freezing. It totally sucked. I carry my cell 99% of the time now! Kaleb still talks about my "flat tire" incident!
My poor babies!! Good thing Gabbo bounces back so fast.
